Biography

Dr. Özgür Oktay Nar is an Orthopaedics and Traumatology specialist based in Bursa, Turkey, with over 20 years of clinical experience.

He completed his medical degree at Samsun 19 Mayıs University Faculty of Medicine (1996–2002) and his specialist training in Orthopaedics and Traumatology at Kahramanmaraş Sütçü İmam University (2003–2008). He worked as a specialist physician at Aydın Nazilli State Hospital (2008–2013) before establishing his private practice in Bursa in 2013.

His clinical focus includes foot and ankle surgery and arthroscopy, hallux valgus surgery, knee and hip replacement, robotic and arthroscopic surgery, sports injuries (ACL, meniscus and rotator cuff repair), paediatric orthopaedics, and non-surgical regenerative treatments such as PRP, hydrogel and prolotherapy.

He is a member of the Turkish Society of Orthopaedics and Traumatology and the Turkish Sports Injuries, Arthroscopy and Knee Surgery Association, and serves as Founding/Chief Editor of ortopedist.org, a peer-reviewed platform for orthopaedic specialists. He is married with two children.
